Aspiring illustrator with a love for books, history, writing, and poetry. Out of all the things that I enjoy, a favourite part of these pastimes always share one thing in common: their stories. Stories are not only something that I experience on a day to day, but they have filled my life with creativity and fuel my passion for art. Every piece of illustration has a narrative behind the art-- sharing its stories not only with its creator, but with its audience as well. As an illustrator, what I strive for is to share my own stories through my art. Writer and blogger Steve Pavlina wrote that: “Passion and purpose go hand in hand. When you discover your purpose, you will normally find it is something you’re tremendously passionate about”.

I find that Pavlina’s words especially resonate with me, as I believe my purpose goes hand in hand with my passion for telling stories through visual means. I have trained experience in both 3D and 2D design, with an animation diploma from Durham College and currently working towards my Bachelor of Illustration at Sheridan College. I am honest and hardworking, and you’ll never catch me judging a book by its cover!
